Prayer WalkersCome to the beautiful Fouta Jalon where the people are welcoming and the climate is nice.  We have heard story after story of how when an area is bathed in prayer there is more openness to the gospel.  The Light is dawning here.  Help us intensify the Fire for Him!

Stateside Advocate:  Our team is in need of a Stateside Advocate.  Are you interested?  If you are, please read on.  Keep in mind that this is on a volunteer basis.

Description of the Advocacy Ministry for the Fulbe Futa:  Individual(s) called by God to help reach the Fulbe Futa by bridging the gap between the Fulbe Fouta and specific resources within the Kingdom of God.  The Fulbe Fouta are an unreached Muslim people group of about 2.5 million people who live, for the most part, in Guinea, West Africa.  Kingdom resources are limitless but would include individuals , churches, other mission agencies, short-term volunteers, prayer warriors, and material goods.

Objective/Purpose of the Advocacy Ministry:  Increase the knowledge of and love for the Fulbe Fouta among Great Commission Christians with major emphasis on securing a committed group of supporters to offer continual intercessory prayer for the salvation of the unseen, unreached people.

Specific aspects of the Advocacy Ministry:  *Specific desire and personal commitment to see the Fulbe Fouta come to a saving faith in Jesus.  *Personal commitment to be a prayer warrior for the Fulbe Fouta.  * Support the vision statement of the Fulbe Fouta missionary team  *Willingness to tell others about and generate interest in the Fulbe Fouta as opportunities present themselves (i.e.. churches, mission conferences)  *Facilitate in the process of a church or churches adopting the Fulbe Fouta  by supplying information concerning this people or the team of missionaries working among them.  *Willingness to aid the Fulbe Fouta missionary team with any needs that may arise.

Potential aspects of the Advocacy Ministry:  *Willingness to finance or gather financial support for a trip to Guinea to learn about the Fulbe Fouta people, culture, and environment first-hand.  *Assist in linking available resources with needs of the Fulbe Fouta by building relationships with other churches, denominations and countries.  *Assist in researching where Fulbe Fouta are living and studying n the US and assessing the potential for networking with churches in the areas where they are found (i.e. Washington DC and New York City).

Necessary Abilities:  *Ability to send and receive email at home or through church.  *Initiative in seeking out new networking opportunities.  *Sensitivity due to the nature of dealing with a Muslim culture.
